DESCRIPTION:Our Club was Innaugurated on 19th July 2020 at “Aahwan”District Installation of Lions clubs International District 322f By DG Lion Abhijit Senji and Oath Ceremony was Conducted By Lion Shrawan Choudhury ji PDG along with 13 other new clubs. \nWe PSTA and other Board and General Members have attended all District and Multiple online events. \nWe Have opened our Club Trust & Registered in the Name of Lions club of Siliguri City Seva Trust and bank account of our club along with trust has been opened at Union Bank SF Road Siliguri and we have also applied for 12A Certificate. \nWe have paid off our district multiple and international dues on time for the year 2020-21. \nAfter addition of 26members and 1 drop member we have a  strength of 49 in today’s date. \nWe have made Club Lapel Pin for honouring Guests and individual member’s name pin I’d cards Special name badge and t shirts for each member of our club. \non every last day of month we had declared Members of the month on the basis of service and time devoted towards Lionism in 2020-21. \nOur Club was the first Club to Register it’s 27 members in Annual District Convention Naman 2021 and also a Stall highlighting our Projects  with Photo Exhibition and Scrap Book was set up during the same and we had the chance to meet all eminent personalities of Lions clubs and International. \nOur members Registered and Attended Subharambh Special District Convention virtually.. \nOur Club Attended the PST Administrator schooling Along with ZC Schooling as Our President Lion Robin Mitruka is Appointed as Zone Chairperson for the Zone II Region VII for the Lionistic Year 2021-22. \nOur Club gave the 100% Growth of new members  inducting 25 members till date as on 28/6/21in entire Region. \nOur Club Has Sent a Beautiful Cake & Greetings in Birthday and Anniversaries of Each Member and on Time under the dynamic Leadership of Lion Tanuj and Lion Pratik Agarwal and also Digital Greetings for Each occasion was made and Circulated all over the Lions Clubs and District. \nWe have a FB Page Lions club of Siliguri City with 2214 follower’s one of its best in District till date. \nWe also had the witness to Feliciate members Lion Shyam Lion Gaurav Lion Sumit Lion Nitesh On their wedding ceremonies. \nOur Eye Camp Chairman Lion Tanuj Agarwal Organised few free Cataract Operations with The Support of Lions club of Siliguri. \nOur Members and President were very active in attending district Multiple & International level programmes. Our president Lion Robin Mitruka has already attended UDAAN 2020 multiple Leo Meet\, 2 Multiple Conventions\, District Convention\, YLLI\, DLLI\, RLLI \,ISAME Forum 2020 & International Convention With all webinars of District Multiple and International.\nHe was one of the major Sponsor in District Conference 20-21 & District Directory for the Lionistic Year 2021-22.\nHe was also Honoured with District Governors Medal District Conference AppreciationAward and Appreciated by the Host committe in District Conference and Also Received many Awards from Zone Region &  District and Appointed as Zone Chairperson for the Year 2021-22. \nWe have received 4 awards in zonal meet this year by Zone Chairperson Ln Aruna Ruchal Mam. \nLion Robin Mitruka as an  Outstanding President\nLion Nivesh Goyal as an Active Lion\nLion Tanuj Agarwal as the best supportive Lion\nLion MK Manmoj as an outstanding secretary Report in Mylion app and also received 3rd best Lion Secretary award from district for the month of October. \nLion MK Manoj  has successfully completed YLLI training.\nwe have also completed DLLI traning course where 2 of us were present Secretary president and Lion Pratik agarwal. \nActivity report \nWe had celebrated “ABHINANDAN” THE Doctors and Ca’s day on 1st July also Feliciating Advocates of our Club on the Same Day we also Distributed Beverages worth Rs 25000/- with the co operation of Rotary Club of Siliguri. \nWe feliciatated ADRM of NF Rly and handed over Sanitizer and masks. \nWe also celebrated 74th Independence day on 15th August by flag hoisting at shankar more khalpara Siliguri On the same day we had organised under 1 district 1 activity program FOOD FOR AL where we distributed dry foods around different  places in Siliguri. \nWe Organised & declared results of APNA DESH APNA BHARAT – an online Drawing and Fancy Dress Competition. In which we received support from your end and Entire Country. \nOn 30th August we had organised a Career Counselling Session – A Guide to Successful Future for students and parents.. where ICAI Faculty Chairman and renowned Career counsellors had presented their views on different career options and 100 of students where benefited. \non 6th September under 1 district 1 activity we had oragnised AABHAR at Panitanki Police Out Post. we felicitated OC of said top and distributed masks and sanitizers along with our members. \nJEEWAN Rakshak – 1 dist 1 activity.. we had organized Megha Blood Donation Camp on 13 sept. where SJDA Chairman Sri Nantu Paul and Region Chairperson Aruna mam had graced the occasion where we had collected  70 units of blood and received Gold  category certificate from the District. \nGO Green – 1 district 1 Activity – we have distributed plants to our members and others  for improvement of the environment and make a clean & green city. \nwe also actively participated in our I district 1 activity programme MATOSHREE Where we distributed Saree to the needy on the eve of Sasthi of durga puja where every member where present. \nWe successfully organised Peace Poster Contest on 10th October for the age students of 11-13 where many students participated and winner name was sent to the District. \nWe Organised Donation  cum Lucky Draw Coupon Named Diwali Bonanza for our Fund Raising Purpose to meet the expenses of our Service Activity in the occasion of Deepawali. \nWe organised Official DG Visit on 22nd November where our Members where present and We Honoured DG Lion Abhijit Sen and Introduced New members to the club. \nOn the 22nd November same day Diwali Milan was also organised by our Club with luck draw music dance and orchestra where members and families where invited and was enjoyed by everyone followed by Gala Dinner. \nOn 3rd January we distributed Lunch among 151 people under the name ‘SERVE ANNAPURNA’ with the help of Sri Kedarmall ji Gupta at Vasudev Kutumb at Pranami Mandir Road Punjabi para Siliguri. \nWe had participate Lions Premier League at Hindi School SF Road Siliguri where our members Participated actively and won first match and  best catch award was given to Lion Adarsh Goyal and we where Honoured by Lions club of Siliguri Magnum. \nWe celebrated Republic Day by means of Flag Hoisting and distributed Food Packets among the workers of Naya bazar Khalpara Siliguri and a get together was done by our members. \nDistributed Jute bag under “NO PLASTIC” slogan one District One Activity and programme was successfully executed. \nHoisted PDG’s honouring ceremony on 6th March at Hotel Deck PBR Tower Sevoke Road Siliguri in Presence of Region and Zone and it was hosted by us and Association with three other clubs sonapur satabdi and citizens where we where Honoured for highest member added in the Region by Lion Jyoti Gupta Region Chairperson and cake cutting was done to celebrate the same. \nOn 7th March we Organised a Mega Event to Empower Women’s of our Society and lionism through an Event Called “Lions Empowerment Award 2021″where we Honoured the Top Ladies of our City for their extra ordinary services and support towards the society which they where doing and it was Done under the able Leadership of Lion Saijal and Lion Tina Agarwal in Presence of DG Lion Abhijit Sen  First Lady of Our District Lion Jubilee sen ZC lion Aruna Ruchal Mam GMT Cordinator Lion Jaya Periwal and Assistant Commissioner Income tax Sri Milan Ruchal each one enjoyed and ended with a Gala Dinner. \nOn 30th March 21 we enjoyed alot at “RANG FUHAR – THE HOLI MEET at Hotel Royal Sartaj where members along with their families with Honourable DG PDG PMCC GAT GST Cordinator and Sponsoring lions clubs and other lions clubs of the District was present where each one enjoyed and ended with a Gala dinner. \nAn Important Meeting was Called in 1st week of April to form the New Board selection for the Lionistic year 2021-2022 where each member’s where present and an unanimously a Decesion was made to go for selection and Lion MK manoj along with his new team where selected and passed by each individual member. \nDuring this extreme COVID pandemic situation our Lady Lions organised an “ONLINE FACEBOOK GANGAUR COMPETITION”- which Received a huge participation from all over the country and was successfully executed and supported by Lion Saurab Sarkar. \nOn the eve of “POILA BAISAKH” we felicitated DG elect Lion Shankar Das at Matigara siliguri . \nHamari Koshish apno ke liye-We had begun LION CITY OXYGEN SWAS SEVA”  a permanent oxygen seva ON 20th May with 11 cylinders and Inducted new Member Lion Tenuram Roy also appreciated Press media as Corona Yodha at District Head Quarters Burdwan Road Siliguri in Presence of GST and GAT District Cordinator. \nOn 23rd May 2021\, we organised “ANNA DAAN” under “ONE DISTRICT ONE ACTIVITY” where we distributed dry ration\, which was provided by the District at Subsidised Rate where we collected and Distributed to the needy. \nFelicitated ACP of Siliguri metropolitan police Dr Chandan Das on 18th May and distributed masks and sanitizers. \nLions ki khatti-metti bhatte with Rtn.Vinod Thakkar from Mumbai- an online virtual program was organised\nwith LC Darjeeling Unity Wings & Lions Sparsh on 28th May in Presence of DG lion Abhijit Sen and DG elect lion Shankar Kumar Das. \nA food distribution programme was organised with the help of Lion Gouri Shankar Agarwal on 30th May at Rural Area where he took the entire was organised on 5th June with Mrs. Ritika Agarwal as Guest Speaker from Bangalore in Presence of DG lion Abhijit Sen and DG elect Lion Sankar kr Das. \nOn 10th June we had organized the first phase COVID-19 vaccination drive in support with Lions club of Siliguri Terai where we Vaccinated Around 111 Participant’s and was beautifully Execution was done By PMCC Lion Nirmal Gidra ji and team Terai. \nOn 12th June we had launched our permanent project-“LION CITY SERVE ANNAPURNA”. In thinking to Serve The Needy under the able Leadership of Lion Vivek and Lion Deepak where we already Served 201 needy at Sidhi Vinnayak SF Road Siliguri in Presence of DG Lion Abhijit Sen and Lion Dignitaries Lion Bishnu Kedia Lion Suresh Sinhal Lion Santanu Kedia Lion Bikash Bansal and president SMA Sri Karan Singh Jain. \nOur Club on 12th June organised a Fellowship Meet along with all members at Hotel Atrangi where members played Games and had fun with a Gala Dinner and also Lion Bikash Agarwal new member was Inducted and Introduced by Lion Rishi Mitruka. \nOn 17th June we had organised the second phase of COVID-19 vaccination drive along with Lions club of Siliguri Magnum and Support of Sidhi Vinnayak and Medica North Bengal where we Vaccinated Around 1000+ people and organised a Blood Donation Camp with the Support of Lions club of Siliguri Terai and accumulated 14 units and was a successful event with Magnum it was witnessed by Lion Nirmal Gidra PMCC lion Abhijit sen DG lion Shankar Kumar Das DG Elect and Lion Bishnu Kedia GST District Cordinator. \nToday a Preparatory board\, general meeting and website “Lionsiliguricity.com’ has been launched today by The District Governor Lion Abhijit Sen as on 27th June 2021 . \nOur upcoming Projects \nEngagement and Empowerment of Women and Youth in Lionism- an online programme will be organised with international faculty and trainer from Nigeria Lion Marry Onu from Lions International District 404A1 on 28th June 2021 Virtually. \nAnd other pipeline upcoming projects:- \n1. Health/Eye check up camps. \n2. Drinking Water Installation as Permanent Project \n3.Sui Dhaga District Activity City Seva Trust Centre. \n4.Hosting First District Cabinet Meeting for the Lionistic Year 2021-22 \n5. A Special Engraved Lapel Pin is been made for our Club Members. \n6.Club Installation DG Visit and Annual Awards Ceremony to Be Organised on 25th July 2021.
